    Why did they close your account? Didnt you tell them it was a scam? But then again…you actually fell for it? Why did you even deposit the check? Dont be so gullible..

    well if u get a free check in the mail, then it’s probably not real. life isnt that good. But if u bounce a check u can still bank it just hurts ur credit a lil

    I think you should speak to the bank president, for they should not have asked you to close your account. I assume this is the first check you have deposited that bounced.

    Never heard of refusing to be able to open a new account. I can see them closing the old one since there is a chance the scammer may get your account number. You are very lucky. This new Secret Shopper scam requests your SS number and other personal info to “deposit” your wages for you. They then empty your account. If you didn’t ask for a job, don’t accept a check for doing nothing.
